Center on Rural Innovation

A stereotypical view of Rural America does not square with the Rural America that the Center on Rural Innovation envisions. We were called in to design a brand and website that reflected those rapidly evolving technological and innovation networks and communities.

Through research, stakeholder interviews, and visual workshops we focused on a vision of progress, technology, start-ups, fresh ideas, and growth, rooted in the community of rural leaders and change agents.

Leaning into the branded hexagon shape from the logo, our team designed and developed a rotating collage element that changed for each pillar of CORI’s work.

Highlighting the impact in the community was an important part of convincing target audiences that these initiatives could succeed in their communities too.
